JESD 79-4C, that´s from Netlist´s patent ´912 Claim 16 - 8!! ist says,

"wherein ....... system by selecting one or two ranks of the first number of ranks and transmitting the command signal to at least one DDR memory device of the selected one or two ranks of the first number of ranks"

specification JESD 79-4C is written, black on white paper!

“allows programmability of a given device on a rank” through the “per DRAM addressability” (“PDA”)

Had an interesting round of golf yesterday. played with 2 gentlemen who are in the memory storage business, know Chuck Hong, worked with him, know Netlist and have some valuable info that I will be getting soon. As a rep in the memory storage business, one has a spreadsheet with the number of servers Google has. My concern is that there might be severe consequences to my new golfing friend should I reveal this information as it wouldn't be difficult to identify him as the source of proprietary and potentially damaging info. I will have to get his permission to make it public here. But, I think knowing how many servers Google has would abswer one of the important data points in determining the extent of damage done to Netlist.
