I see they used the word proprietary…what about it?…why is that a big deal?…

That means they have a right to the tech…probably have patents also…again, so what…

What tech Exxon doesn’t have access to by being co-developers, has been licensed to Exxon…

Sure…it’s proprietary tech…but Exxon can use it all they want…make and sell products with it…

That’s what licensing is all about….
