Well, there is between 2 and 4 terabytes of emails and trading records to process. And attorneys have other trials and litigation matters already scheduled, including trial prep for those other trials.

My expectation is that the April 2023 trial date will be moved back into summer or autumn 2023 due to multiple appeals of pretrial motion rulings to the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.

I hope it is moved back to October, as October/November are the least objectionable months for walking around Chicago. June thru September are too hot and December thru April are too cold. If April is nott held, which I think it will nott be, then I hope the judge pushes it back to October or November.

Same for NYC - sucks in the summer, wonderful in autumn. Oct/Nov are my favorite times to be in NYC or DC. DC in summer is oppressive due to humidity, NYC and Chicago can be sporadically humid in summer as well..

And depending upon the available schedules of the court and the lawyers for both sides, I can see the trial possibly slipping to 2024.
