Meanwhile FoxConn seems to be moving into what they do best - manufacturing.
Lordstown will do well as an engineering and design partner for a while until FoxConn either hires away or acquires that capability for themselves. At that point (and in the meantime) I expect Lordstown will begin announcing new partnerships with other brands (Fisker?) helping to design and engineer new platforms or purely conceptual platforms, utilizing hub motors.
But I don't think this company will ever regain the market cap they had last year when they were promoting themselves as a new manufacturer.
Huge losses on this for me, and I'm now more convinced than before it will never come back.
