I just read this very real and sobering article about what may be coming in the not too distant future. The article talks about what might happen if China moves ahead with an invasion of Taiwan and how militarily that could play out.

Nobody wants to see more war come, but unfortunately this is what happens when power struggles come and challenger's, like China, are looking to unseat the current ruler of the roost, the U.S. They're apparently trying to map-out how it will all go down.

We know the gold price will benefit if a larger war breaks out. Time will tell.
