...I certainly find Walmart still solid on things like sales order books whereas a Staples say, would be expensive on these supplies.

And whereas I find Aldi and Lidle terrific, the new lost cost food market leaders, clearly having overtaken Walmart, they too, can be not cheap on some items.

Bottom line: Every store is worth going into, as they will all have some featured items. For instance, relatively pricey Publics in the southeast will have BOGOs which can be a good deal, tho often on items we don't need :)

We have to do our work while food shopping, finding the good deals every store offers, and passing over the trap items.

For my money, German based Aldi and Lidl are tops for more low prices on quality foods. No wonder Walmart pulled out of Germany, one of its few international failures

Another big delivery today. The activity is keeping me alive. My 97 YO father used to say as his ingredient for a long life, "keep moving".
