djohn, it is not different then with any stock investment.

You buy with money that you do not need. If you come to need the money and you must sell, then you don't control the investment and you may have to take a loss.

Those IIs have hundreds of stock. They know exactly what to sell when and they have choices. If the complete market went down then rest assured that the IIs also sold things in the process. Just not CDMO because that is a low risk promising stock.
