Third infrastructure package. Now yes?

The Secretary of the Treasury, Rogelio Ramírez de la O, was on Friday with the Executive Committee of the CCE, chaired by Francisco Cervantes , and it was, they say, a very positive meeting.

One of the central issues was the landing of the Pacic (Package against Inflation and Scarcity), which has not really had any impact yet and Ramírez de la O spent a lot of time in his presentation on the third package of infrastructure projects that has been postponed several times and that supposedly now it is going to be presented at the National Palace.

This third package is, in fact, one of the priorities of Ramírez de la O , because it covers the projects of the Isthmus, not only investment in ports, but also 10 industrial parks that will have special tax incentives and that intend to attract companies interested in nearshoring. that will help solve problems in supply chains.

The most important thing about this third package, which apparently would include works from the previous two, is that there really be follow-up on the projects, and what the businessmen insisted on is that they require certainty and greater security to invest, which is, True, one of the Pacic commitments that they promised to follow up on.
