The excessive amount of coins serve a purpose to help get the token established and widely held. Burn mechanisms are in place to reduce the supply. Again, we need to wait until the ecosystem is complete for it to start making a difference and even then, it may not happen as fast as many would like.

The mistake so many are making is thing that the devs goal is to just burn the rest of the supply now so that the current 1,100,000 holders can cash out rich. That's great for you and I, but it would destroy the future of the token. Everyone needs to accept that some patience is required.
