Jealous of anyone who has seen them play live in the early 70's! I was born about 15 years too late :) 14 troutvoice troutvoice 11 years ago LOVE Toy's Pedal Steel solo in the middle of this song! Saw him play it at Winterland in 1974 with the Mirror Ball shining light on all of us! 4 Steve Mancini Steve Mancini 7 years ago I have to say that this is one the finest albums ever. Think about it. How many albums, yes albums are there with this this many quality song's? Really? Let me know. This is in the class of the first 3 Allman Bros albums. No bad cut's. What other albums are the of this stature? Let me tell you. Doobie Bros - Taking It To The Streets, Robin Trower's- Bridge of Sigh,s and Necktar's under rated album "Down To Earth"that has all listenable track's. This band should be legendary for the quality of this music. 35 Jazz_Addict Jazz_Addict 4 years ago Used to play this to death in HS and after. . . you never know how things will stand up over time-- sometimes the sentimental attachment proves stronger than the music, itself. Not in this case. This still sounds great. 5 Steve Terrill Steve Terrill 6 years ago I'm 62 and a lifelong Okie from Tulsa. Saw them here in 71, in high school, CDB opened the show, then this band blew us away for 3 hrs.+. 2nd time in72, Kansas opened, Skynrd played for 3 hrs. then Marshall Tucker played for 4 hrs. outdoor show, I think it was $20. Love y'all , thanks for letting me comment...peace 24 Joseph Sherwood Joseph Sherwood 9 years ago I remember Marshall Tucker in the 70's with "Can't you see" and "Heard it in a Lovesong". But I just heard this song for the first at their last Concert! Great song! 3 Robert Pendergrass Robert Pendergrass 4 years ago Tommy on bass makes this song for me. Popped in the MTB cassette in Staten Island and this tune with that middle break would come on just as the sun was rising.
