Another great article discussing one aspect of why the Fed is worthless. Most of the posters on this board could probably set better economic policy. Even though the Fed is not part of government, they have a government problem in that anyone with a differing opinion is not tolerated and/or promoted. Thus, REALLY smart people leave. Those who speak the truth are fired or marginalized. This leaves a lot of not-so-smart folks and/or folks who are beholden to someone or some organization.

Another aspect of why the Fed is worthless, or maybe even overly costly to the taxpayer, is the fact that the Fed is comprised of (and/or controlled by) the member banks. So in reality the Fed represents the folks that are part of the problem. I would really like Wang to do additional tweets addressing the conflicts of interest and how monetary policies benefit the banks and leave the average person paying for it.

Yet more tweets should cover how they use economic policy to destroy enemies and coerce allies.
