Actually, it may be that unless or until a well hits commercial oil the government
considers the well to be stratigraphic. Once commercial oil is found then the
government would deem it to be an exploration well. That's the reason posted
on Yahoo as being from RECAF. I think once a well is deemed commercial it
may start the clock running on the time allowed for the company to produce oil.
(Doesn't sound quite right though I understand the logic.) The sooner RECAF
begins drilling the better. Keep in mind the "gap" that may soon be looking
to get tested or filled just above $3.00. Could be a good entry point if it
gets that low or even comes close.
