Given the description provided in the 10K "deferred revenues are recorded net of contract assets when cash payments are received from customers in advance of the Company’s performance" I think having deferred revenue shows strong demand for IGENs products from at least a few customers. Not all companies have customers are willing to hand them money before they get a product. That does seem to require an enthusiastic and trusting customer. Its certainly not something I do. The customers doing that keeps IGEN from having to borrow money to get hardware so it is also good for share price and Chan has that in mind when setting up contracts.

The tweet earlier today shows that the attendance at the CUTrak conferences a few weeks ago have already reaped rewards. The tweet about pre-loaded used cars is also good but we don't know how many of those, if any will translate into actual revenue.
