that's because there are no demonstration units of any covering that actually provides a usable amount of energy.

Check the physics, what loss of power is there as a "transparent cell" is connected to the outside of a "window". The connections are extremely thing (since the whole film is transparent but you have to get power to the edge connectors. Very little of the small amount of power each cell generates will survive the resistance to the edge.

No demonstration units over say 2' squared - the usual video is o f 1' pane of glass.


No for golf carts they don't need to be transparent so it could be an application but I think there are other companies already doing it for that reason.
