I get the concept. The real question is: would the charge be sufficient to keep the batteries full?

To answer the question, we have to know how many kilowatts of energy do golf carts use each day, and how many kilowatts of energy do the solar roofs produce each day?

If the production is greater than consumption, the carts stay charged. If not, they will have to be plugged in anyway. Not sure that would justify the investment for golf courses.

I have no way of estimating the consumption. But I consider the idea an interesting one and hope that someone who knows golf carts might be able to investigate a little deeper.
