The test was probably done at a time when the oil-saltwater ratio was at it's best. And 67% salt water is nothing to cheer about, because it will quickly get worse.. IMO.

I find it highly unlikely they (TRRC) would be ok with a "Just the tip, just for a second, just to see how it feels" kinda of test..
