Not at all, I've made HUGE amounts of profits in Feb 2022, and while my account value has shrunken in the last 15 months like most of the markets, my accumulation has tippled. Sooner or later my investments will more than quadruple in value and that's when my early retirement plan will be confirmed. As of now I still just consider it a potential retirement. Wait and see! On the other hand I've seen others who seen their investments go from 0.0002 to 0.0199 back to 0.0005 with millions of shares on the line and not selling one worrying about the extra 15% in capital gains tax. WTF?
