That is one of the responsibilities of iBank underwriting. Support the price and help the folks who make the decisions about hiring iBankers to get ~OUTT.

No guessing involved. The entire ecosystem is designed to distribute to retail, not just IPO but post-IPO to aid the IPO buyside (mutual funds, pension funds, etc.) to then distribute the shares they bought in the IPO to retail suckers.

That basically IS The Game.
