yes, that has happened to me too, after recent site changes. i think i get a 419 error when the homepage has been up on my browser for a while, showing post numbers, as you said, but when i click on them that error pops up. the fix is to refresh my browser, so maybe that's all that needs to be tweeked is an auto-refresh setting.
