There are many reasons, I’ll list the main ones.

FDA lack of regulations.
Vaping illnesses (due vitamin E, but then it was rumored to be hemp & CBD).
Massive competition by fly by night operators
Covid-19. Multiple years. Closed shops etc.
We being asset light, low OpEx, not wasting huge sums to generate revenues.
