Top Bigfoot Community Influencer: Rates ARknet superior! The comparison is with other Bigfoot tracking devices.

-Go to Apple App Store or Google Play to search for it, or get either thru Arknet.app web page.
Version 2 is coming soon which will have a bigfoot footprint icon on the first page of icons, to immediately open the bigfoot map.

--One of the major reasons for releasing our Bigfoot Map in app form was to facilitate the correcting of location pins with input from witnesses who had Class A reports posted on BFRO.net over the years.
We need Class A witnesses to download the Arknet app then zoom in on the pin for their report location, then switch the map layer to aerial view (icon like in Google Maps).

--I see several sightings reported in the area where mine was.

Check out the Beta version for new BFRO Bigfoot Sighting Map!!
It’s available within the free ARKnet app (a collection of apps). You can find it and download it onto your phone — iPhone or Android. Go to Apple App Store or Google Play to search for it, or get either thru Arknet.app web page.
Version 2 is coming soon which will have a bigfoot footprint icon on the first page of icons, to immediately open the bigfoot map.
In the present Beta version you need to navigate through the map in a clunky way but it works.
For now you have to select the very first icon — Maps — then scroll to right among the top tabs (e.g. “Main St.) to find the tab that says “Bigfoot Sightings”. Refer to attached images.
Give the app a moment to download all the data to your phone. Be patient. In short order the map will populate with pins for all Class A reports (the clear visual sightings).
The map only provides pins for Class A reports for now. The Class B reports (many more of those) will become available at some point in future. If we showed both Class A and B by default right now, the whole US map would be blotted out by so many pins that you would have trouble zooming in on the areas you want to look at.
One of the major reasons for releasing our Bigfoot Map in app form was to facilitate the correcting of location pins with input from witnesses who had Class A reports posted on BFRO.net over the years.
We need Class A witnesses to download the Arknet app then zoom in on the pin for their report location, then switch the map layer to aerial view (icon like in Google Maps).
Post a comment at the bottom of the report to say that you are the witness and whether the location pin is right on the spot. Other people can also add relevant info to the report like word-of-mouth stories from nearby locations, or important relevant terrain features like cedar swamps (Bigfoots love dense cedar swamps or cedar groves).
If the pin location is incorrect then use the Google Maps app to help fix that. Open Google Maps on your phone. Zoom in to exact spot. Drop a pin (by touching the screen) on the exact spot. A “Dropped Pin” window will slide up from bottom of the screen. Drag it up further to see the GPS coordinates. If you touch the coordinates they will copy to your invisible clipboard.
Back in the Arknet app touch the message icon at the bottom of the report then post a message saying that you are the witness (state your initials if your name is not shown in the report) then paste the GPS coordinates.
The way to let us all now that you have corrected your pin:
Go back to the top level of ARKnet app — that first screen which shows all the sub-apps like Maps. Look for the Groups icon. Open that, Click the BFRO icon. Post a message on that central BFRO thread to let us (or anyone else) know that you have provided corrected coordinates for your report. Be sure to mention the BFRO ID number for the report. We will fix the pin.
Why are correct pins so important??
You can learn a lot about these creatures just by noting on aerial images where they have definitely been seen, precisely. Study the area.
And you can learn a whole lot more if you ever get a chance to stand at those exact locations, and then figure out the likely pathway it (they) used, and then follow it a while, if possible …
The images below show the various screens in the app that allow you to navigate to the bigfoot map.

Judy Ecker There’s no short answer to that question. You would use different types of cameras for day or night. And different cameras for portable use or fixed location use. So it depends on what you area trying to do.

For daytime you should get a small camcorder with a zoom lens (at least 10x). I don’t know how much they cost nowadays but I’m guessing $500-$1000 for a really good one. For night you should get a thermal camera. The BFRO now provides the best inexpens… See more

This is awesome!! My friends & I had an experience in Kansas, mid 70’s. Never thought of BF till I looked at the BFRO sightings & saw 2 at the same time & area. Nope. Didn’t see it. We all ran. We didn’t know what we were running from, but knew it was … See more

That map doesn’t have new reports from BFRO and it has loads of fake reports. It didn’t take long for me to find some — one in Burbank CA and one in Topanga Canyon CA. There aren’t even old stories from either of those areas.

An interactive map within the BFRO is very promising, just seems like alot of hoop jumping to get to it. I'll have to check this out.
