Thor Explorations says Douta-West discovery adds gold ounces for upcoming PFS

Thor Explorations Ltd (TSX-V:THX, AIM:THX, OTC:THXPF) CEO Segun Lawson talked with Proactive's Stephen Gunnion about progress at the Douta gold project in Senegal, with a specific focus on the Douta-West licence. Lawson outlined that Thor acquired the licence a year ago and has since been advancing drilling efforts there. He confirmed the company has now made a fresh discovery, which includes oxide, free-flowing, recoverable gold material. “These are wide intersections between 12 and 20 metres wide, with very good grades between 1.3 and just over 2 grams per ton,” Lawson said. He added that the anomaly runs for approximately two kilometres and could be a significant contributor to the overall economics of the project. Lawson noted that the next step is to fully drill the strike length of the discovery zone. This will allow the company to include the newly identified ounces into its mine plan and potentially enhance the preliminary feasibility study (PFS). He also highlighted that the company is not pursuing exploration for academic purposes, but rather with a clear intent to build and deliver value to shareholders. Lawson confirmed that following the completion of the drilling campaign, Thor will provide an updated timeline for the PFS. Opioid-Free pain relief: AFT’s global expansion strategy

AFT Pharmaceuticals Ltd Managing Director Dr Hartley Atkinson talked with Proactive at the AIM's Small and Midcap Conference about the company's unique approach to drug development, its expanding global footprint, and what lies ahead in 2025. AFT Pharmaceuticals is focused on creating pharmaceuticals "with a difference," targeting unmet needs and reducing reliance on opioids. “We don’t sell anything we don’t believe in,” said Dr Atkinson, highlighting the importance of alternatives to opioid treatments. One of the company’s key analgesic products helps avoid opioid use — a particularly timely innovation in light of the global opioid crisis. Dr Atkinson discussed the company’s core markets, with a strong presence in New Zealand and Australia, generating approximately 150 million in revenue. AFT also maintains operations in Asia and now exports to around 80 countries. The company has experienced sustained growth, having quadrupled in size over the past decade and doubled in the last five years. AFT has established six new affiliates across regions including Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, Canada, the UK, and Europe. Structural Monitoring Systems: 20% growth & cash flow milestone

Structural Monitoring Systems Executive Chairman and CEO Ross Love talked with Proactive about the company’s aviation-focused growth strategy, recent product developments, and financial performance. Love explained that the company operates across three segments: avionics for special mission fleets, contract manufacturing, and the development of CVM (Comparative Vacuum Monitoring) technology for detecting microscopic cracks in metal structures. He noted, “The investment case is this is a business that will grow at around about 20% a year plus or minus.” One of the highlights discussed was the launch of a compact version of their digital audio system, which is tailored for emergency services and aerial firefighting fleets. These products are increasingly in demand, with installations underway across North America, including for California’s CAL FIRE — the largest aerial firefighting fleet. Love also detailed their expansion into South America, which is facilitated by similar infrastructure to the North American market. He said, “We supply most of the critical flights across North America… we’re making inroads into Europe and into South America.” On the financial front, Love highlighted that the company has doubled in size over the last two and a half years and is now operating with positive cash flow for the first time, following a successful capital raise of over $8 million. Firefly Metals hits high-grade copper-gold at Green Bay

Firefly Metals Ltd managing director Steve Parsons talked with Proactive about the company’s latest drill results from the Green Bay Copper-Gold Project. Parsons highlighted a series of significant intercepts from ongoing infill drilling, including a standout result of 14.2 metres at 7.5% copper equivalent. These results are part of an effort to upgrade the current 24.4 million-ton resource into the indicated category, which is essential for progressing the company’s engineering studies and maintaining ASX compliance. “In some of those infill zones, we’re seeing 50 metres or more at over 2% copper with gold,” Parsons said, underlining the robust nature of the mineralised system. Firefly currently has five underground rigs active, with three focused on infill drilling and two on step-out drilling aimed at further growing the resource. The company expects new results in the coming weeks and is also preparing to commence regional exploration drilling within a ten-kilometre radius of the planned processing plant. Parsons noted the geological potential of the area, stating that VMS high-grade copper-gold systems “typically find more than one,” expressing optimism about upcoming exploration.
