KKT 5 construction permits for HPPs, passes the Llogara Tunnel and access roads to Skavica

As the works for the construction of the Llogara Tunnel started in November last year, the National Council of the Territory approved only this week the construction permit for this infrastructural work.

n the last meeting of KKT on April 26, in addition to this point, a series of other permits related to energy have passed, where first the permit for the substations that are part of the 400 kV line project Albania-Macedonia with Developer Transmission System Operator. Another notable permit is the one given to the Albanian Electricity Corporation for the construction of access roads that will be used for the construction of the Skavica HPP.

KKT has also approved 5 construction permits for hydropower plants in the area of ??Dibra and Peshkopi while it has extended the deadline for 3 more permits for HPPs.

The permit for wind turbines has been approved in Puka.

In point 24 has approved the change of the development subject for the object "Tourist Resort 2, 3 and 4 floors with underground parking" Monastery Resort ", located in the Municipality of Saranda".

This resort by the government gained the status of strategic investment at the end of 2021 by a decision of the Strategic Investment Committee. The project occupies a development area of ??53,467 m², private property, in Cadastral Zone 2297, in Ksamil, Saranda Municipality.

The value of the investment according to the documents is estimated at 28 million euros and the company which gained the status was ALB-Star.
