I'm a retired lawyer, decades-long investor; one of my sons is a CPA. When I was young, magic interested me. In recent years, I've been intrigued by financial engineering used by lower grade stocks. For example, how to take ordinary blue chips and display a double digit yield. Just another form of illusion or flim-flam.
