dammit, i hate to admit it, but i think that you hit the nail on the head, govt decided to nationalize fnma thru the net worth sweep and supreme court basically said it in the oral arguments, and then said that it was ok to nationolize them in their verdict. the big question is: will the govt ever have any incentive to release them? or will they keep em in conservatorship forever?
