Last year I had someone call me to proxy vote through them for AMC, on a different issue. I told them I was no longer a holder in AMC (unfortunately, because it was pre-squeeze and and I sat on over 2k shares...). However, they were very insistent I release my voting to them. Again, I refused.

I've never had that happen before, therefore I didn't trust the caller, nor anyone that calls me and I can't verify them.

Bottom line, vote yourself and not through a proxy, unless you can verify your vote will be counted and secure.

If I'm not making any sense, my apologies, I just spent all afternoon in the sun watching my 12yo play lacrosse.
