Cardano (ADA) & the Race

Today Cardano finds itself in a highly enviable position. For the last few years, we've been in a big giant race with a lot of the participants. It was the Gen 3 blockchain race. Who could really solve the trilemma first? We were never going to be the first ones across the finish. All three of the Solunavaxes (to use ADA Whale's preferred terminology) crossed first. Solana came across, the judges shook their heads...too centralized. DQ! Luna? Same. DQ! Avalanche? Same. DQ! That left Ethereum & they were the odds-on favorite to win. But, their arrival was delayed & delayed. They finally crossed the finish line battered & beat. No one was sure if it was late 2022, 2023, or even 2024. But, there was no fanfare. There was no applause. Ethereum didn't know that Cardano had won long ago & they were already hosting their victory party at the beach bar.
