Hi Arizona1, I saw nothing in the CNN article you posted that says slavery of African Americans wont be taught as part of American history.

All it says is that making sure what is taught wont make students feel guilty about our history.

There's a big difference.

And if it helps, "the Media" is trying its hardest to make all white people feel guilty about 19th century slave ownership - even Europeans who immigrated here after the 1860s - so whether kids learn about it in school or not, they are bombarded by the fact that .... thanks to the British, our southern states economies became intrenched in slave ownership.
