Yes and Yes Own the home and collect SS. Spent the last 22 years developing it and stand to lose over 300K if the russians take over Ukraine. Our home is in the western part and has not been bombed like the east so it is still intact for now.

I built a 40KW solar power plant and it was making an average of 500 a month income that has stopped paying because of the War. It is still producing but no payments for the last 2 months. It has a modem on the inverter so I can monitor what is going on over the internet.

Sooooo we are just sitting here waiting for this nightmare to end. Luckly I have a good friend in Bulgaria allowing us to use his summer vacation apartment rent free right now so my cost of living has remained the same for now.
