Gosh, you seem so surprised. In my experience, stocks go up and down - esp penny stocks. Maybe your experience is different? Please do tell.

Pre merge news I'd expect the stock to go up and down. Post merge news I'd expect it to go up and down. We'll see how high it goes when merge news hits I suppose.

Perhaps you think penny stocks behave differently?
