It's a startup. Yeah if you invest in the first day of a startup, odds are as a retailer you will be diluted, unless you have terms setup to avoid that. No different than when a company first goes public on a major exchange and pretty much every single one in the history of time has plummeted because someone over-valued it. Timing is everything.
