I have been known to drink pickle juice and pickled okra juice. I will try almost any pickling juice.

However, Brine and pickle juice are different.

Is Pickle Juice the same as pickle brine? No. Whilst the base of both pickle brine and Pickle Juice is vinegar, that is where the similarity ends. Pickle brine contains sugar, protein and other nasty items which are not helpful for athletes



And I guess I could say I had "brine" because I will gargle with very salty water when I have a soar throat. Sometimes it goes down. That's how I know I don't like "brine".

Also have going swimming in the Gulf, absolutely don't like that "brine" . NASTY

BUT yes, show me some pickle juice. Drank it on a dare as a yute (approx 10 y/o). Someone thought they were "getting me"... Still drinking it 60 years later. wink
