The whole real reason for basically shady custo plays, and I mean shady when a large percentage of them are setups by the very people putting their company in custody positions, is for the shell buyer only and the shell seller. There is no value for original shareholders and the only ones that would hold new issues, in the extremely rare merger are the pre owners of the custo'd corp and the new owners of the 'corp'.
Any kind of common shareholder is never a part of custo plays.
