One way or another I suspect it would be good to have a South African on board with the Elk Creek Project. (Especially one with access to 33 billion dollars....This probably came from his sale of Tesla stock holdings!)

Mind you, you do not just quietly buy 9.2% of a company and then have 33 Billion sitting around waiting to spend. He had to have been planning this for a while. (Well...at least a few weeks!)

I suspect that the Twitter board will say no and ask the USGov DOJ to investigate Musk for daring to make the offer! (They really do not want him to be able to access their corporate records including any emails about suppressing some peoples posts! And....don't you wonder how many Twitter employees drove to work today in Teslas? :)

That said, if they turn him down, the price of Twitter drops and he can get to work picking up some a controlling number of shares at the new lower price on the open market (Or by direct solicitation to shareholders!) and maybe have some case left over to buy a mine or two!
