No it wasn't, JoeForkeyBolo. I remember some people here speculating about a gold backed cryptocurrency and other things, but that was never "sold" to shareholders by the company. That's bullshit. They've always been two completely separate things, and a gold mine in Peru is like the size of a gnat on an elephants ass when compared to BitGift.
