Sure echo, con men live for that kind of thing. After all, the GMA event did not happen, did it? They know that the SEC will not look into such a minor post. Also, it would be hard to disprove. On one hand, if our heroes have that kind of audacity, maybe the charges against them are true. On the other hand, if they have this kind of deviance, they will surely recover.
