Don’t panic over the selling of shares, read on.
Buying and Selling is the process a trader goes through which is different than the Bid and Ask price. A lot depends on your frame of mind kind of like "is a cup half full or half empty". I look at it as a lot of trading/buying at different prices. In both cases; buying and selling there is some one buying as well as selling: if someone is buying that means someone else is selling and the same go for selling there is always a buyer involved. Selling doesn't always involving a person selling there shares because of fear or dislike of a stock; it could be from a lot of different sources:
1) The shares could come from a loan being paid off in shares that are finally being sold because the current price is higher than the value of the shares when used to pay for the loan.
2) They could be shares cashed in to pay for a salary of an employee converting it into cash (you can’t eat stock).
3) I could even be some of the 50bil A-1 shares being sold, which will show up in the next share count. Remember outstanding share count has been going up every month, recently at a rate of over a billion a month.
