100% correct. So many bids that I have worked on are now on hold. Many new housing developments are on standby as folks just can’t get the extra funds and some realize that if they do get the money in 2 or so years when things come back to reality they will be deep underwater as the house won’t be worth what it was built for. The sad part is the bigger the construction company the worse it is. Big companies with huge overhead will go under as they can’t get materials fast enough and with big jobs getting out on hold they can’t keep their employees working.
It’s going to get much worse before it gets better that’s for sure.
