"Communicating with FINRA" is not really an explanation as to what the problem is. Given that they've been trying to change the ticker for 16 months now, it's pretty safe to conclude that FINRA has denied the change and has denied their appeal(s) as well. The question which remains is what is going on with the shell that has given FINRA cause to reject the change and what are Matt and Brian doing to fix it.
