FYI Where I live there is a Naval Air Station about 7 miles to the west and an Air Force Base about 44 miles to the east. I am a military plane nut so my location affords some cool sights now and then. My favorite combat aircraft are the F22 and A10 The F22 is stationed at he AFB and the A10 makes visits there on occasion. F35s and F18s are common sights around the air station. In fact, the Blue Angels are stationed there and frequently buzz the beaches.

From time to time pilots come to town to eat at the many restaurants. I talk to them when I can. They told me a lot of pilots frequent this simulation online. They say it is as close to real as public simulation goes. If you watch many of these simulations you will find the guy flying the Su27 Flanker is the best pilot in the system. He does everything he knows to sneak-kill the F22: piggy backs an AWAC; dumps all flares; runs low; intermittent radar; all the tricks but the F22 still outdoes the Flanker. simulation

There are about 200 F22s in all. They are the fastest and most maneuverable fighter in the world. They require $40.000 an hour to operate. Watching F22 simulations will make you wonder how they do what they do. And you know they are not showing what all they can do. Bad ass plane.
