Analyst sees Wi-Fi Russian revenues doubling on yr in '07
MOSCOW, Jan 26 (Prime-Tass) -- Russian operators' revenues from providing Wi-Fi wireless broadband services are expected to double on the year in 2007 to US$100 million-$120 million, J'son&Partners consultancy said in a report, Kommersant business daily reported Friday.
The number of Wi-Fi hot spots in Russia is likely to increase by 38% in 2007 to 10,460 by the end of the year, the consultancy said.
Alexander Malis, general director of telecommunications operator Corbina Telecom, said that Russia's wireless broadband market was likely to jump 50%-100% on the year in 2007, the daily reported.
