Doxycycline freaking wrecked me as a younger kid. I took it for acne and after a few days, it felt like it ate away the lining of my esophagus/upper GI tract. I had to stop taking it and got on Nexium for a couple weeks to get back to normal. It got to where I didn’t want to eat during the worst of it, swallowing even saliva alone felt like fire all the way down. It’s the only drug I’ve ever taken that gave me any kind of significant adverse effect.

I knew of one other friend who had the exact same reaction to it, maybe we’re outliers though.

Hopefully Elite can make a modest entrance into the market on this one and with a relatively quick launch.
