When the N.Y.GIANTS(BASEBALL TEAM)
left for SAN FRANSICO...and I BELIEVE
a year later the BROOKLYN DODGERS
to LOS ANGELAS...All we had left
where da'YANKS...!
In 1962
We got the N.Y.METS
They played their first season
at the former GIANT stadium
THE POLO GROUNDS...!
When they moved to their new stadium
named SHEA STADIUM...That year I attended
with are 2 sons,(had 4 children..hit a couple of homers)sat in the bleaches,and will never forget it.
Went to SHEA FOR MANY YEARS...NO MORE TROLLEY CAR THOUGH.
THE BEST OF TIMES FOR ME...!
