All of the fear messaging over and over again coupled with the CNN daily death count drove intense fear into the population at the start. I was one of them until I figured out what was going on. I left my place vacant for months while I went to live with my daughter in the country.

For the brainwashing to work it required the drowning out of competing messaging and that's why freedom of speech was drowned out by the social media platforms.
