When you need more shares after a failed RM, you have to keep the "game" in play somehow. This RS slipped into the PR was WELL played by management, most investors only focused on the "RM" portion of the release.

Vystar management just pulled a "Trojan" horse with the shareholders. Hey, aren't these guys in the rubber business?

A RS is a much easier path for companies who need to raise capital, when they have no meaningful income stream.
