Hard for me to believe there are no other "newsletters" out there that would have taken a sh!t ton of shares from Tony and tell their subscribers to buy while they were dumping. I don't know if they contacted him or he found them, but Tony could have done a lot better if he had only done some research/DD.

Another option would have been for Tony to have used the $1.5M to expand/improve his business. Find other distributors. Start a legit advertising campaign. Get into larger chains in places that are not jerkwater towns in the Dakotas. This would be considered an investment in his business.

When his contract with this "newsletter" expires in June, will he renew it and throw them another $1.5M or will he find another similar one with which to do the same?
