I'm not sure what you mean. Do you mean that they were off about it being a scam or not being a scam? Redemption from what? Are you saying that the victims of the scams should redeem themselves by admitting that they got scammed? I'm not sure exactly what your point is? Pride about what?

These type of comments are the ones that make me believe that there are a whole lot more people out there involved, that are trying to justify the process, and instead of criminalizing the criminals, they seem to be trying to lay the blame on people who fall prey to the scams? Or at least using a lot more profiles

Exactly what does that mean? That they didn't realize they were being scammed? Admit that they being scammed? Is that what you mean by "off the mark"?

I don't get some of these comments. It's like "Well just admit you were scammed and move on?" Is that what you're telling investors? Why so whoever was involved can get back to work and do it again?
