Yup.

There are 2 Ripple-XRP sites on Telegram. The scam one is the one labelled "Official". All one needs to do is spend 5 min on it to tell. All kinds of scammers there.

I almost got booted off the legit one just by asking the question. The Admins on the legit sites don't put up with any BS or anything that might resemble BS... The admin on this one basically said "hey idiot! anyone, any site, any link, any any offering free xrp is a scam" Basically saying I should know better which I should.

Glad my Ledger didn't connect. I wouldn't have signed any transactions but still. These scammers are getting more technical and I'm wondering when they will find a way to break into a ledger device without the keys or without us having to sign the transactions....
