Yeah, most of the OTC dollar volume now is 'F' stocks, those newer Grayscale trusts and ADR's....more expensive stuff, not seeing much at all in penny stocks, which like you say is what they wanted all along.
There has been a massive influx of new F stocks over the past couple years, I tried keeping track of them for a few months but gave up because the sheer numbers were too overwhelming and time consuming. I think there could be some money to be made in the very early trading of them, which can be volatile at first, tickers can trade much higher or lower than their foreign counterpart sometimes....but was ultimately not worth it for me to explore.
