Gold was 250 an ounce when I mined in Downieville ca. In the 70s..sold my last take nuggets 9 3/4 penny an some scrap. Oz An quarter for 500.00 cash on the street...big slug an some scrap..3rd divide. PAULY creek..still plenty there..for those who have the cojones to get it...
